Just weeks after his “The Godfather Part II” and “The Irishman” costar Robert DeNiro announced that he welcomed his seventh child at age 79, Al Pacino announced that he too has a baby on the way at 83.
Representatives for Pacino confirmed Tuesday that the Oscar-winning actor was expecting a baby with this 29-year-old girlfriend Noor Alfallah, per TMZ.
She’s eight months pregnant, said the outlet.
Though he has never been married, Pacino has three adult children, according to People magazine. His oldest is 33-year-old Julie Marie Pacino, who he shares with acting coach Jan Tarrant. Actress Beverly D’Angleo is the mother of his 22-year-old children Anton and Olivia.
Aftallah is listed as the producer of four films on the Internet Movie Database. TMZ said she has been linked to Pacino since last April and that she previously had relationships with Rolling Stones front man Mick Jagger, 79, and billionaire Nicolas Berggruen, 61.
News broke in mid-May that DeNiro had welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, Tiffany Chen. According to Parade, Chen is a martial arts instructor who is around 45 years old.
Gayle King of CBA Morning News revealed that the couple had a baby girl named Gia Virginia Chen DeNiro and that they had been trying for a baby. DeNiro’s oldest children are in their 50s. He’s been married twice.
“We got together early on,” said Pacino of De Niro during a 2019 interview in GQ. “And we shared something, which was a big thing at the time.”
Since DeNiro played Vito Corleone – the father of Pacino’s character Michael Corleone – in “The Godfather Part II” flashbacks, they never appeared on-screen together in the film. In fact, GQ said they didn’t appear in the same frame until the 1995 film “Heat”, though they have a friendship that has endured for five decades.
This month, the two iconic film stars also made headlines when more than 270,000 people voted on writer Ashley Reese’s Twitter poll that asked which one was hotter when they were younger. Voters were split 50/50.
