President Joe Biden, 80, fell on stage during an Air Force Academy event Thursday, according to reports.

Doug Mills of The New York Times said in a tweet that the president was “helped to his feet after falling on stage,” and shared a photo.

“Some top Democrats have privately been saying for months that they’re nervous about Biden tripping again on the trail,” said Axios reporter Alex Thompson, who shared a video. “Today he did.”

According to Reuters, Biden was helped up by three people and “walked back to his seat unassisted,” and also seemed to point to something he tripped over.

“He’s fine,” said White House Communications Director Ben LaBolt in a tweet. “There was a sandbag on stage while he was shaking hands.”
