A Texas truck driver says he spotted what he believes was Bigfoot walking near a highway outside Garden Valley on November 18 - sparking a new investigation.

According to the report filed with the Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization (BFRO), the figure was 6 to 7 feet tall, dark brown, and walking steadily toward the woods, seemingly unfazed by nearby traffic.

The sighting has been classified as a “Class A” - meaning a clear and close observation - but researchers have not yet been able to inspect the private 900-acre property where the encounter allegedly occurred.

East Texas, especially the area around the Sam Houston National Forest and counties like Montgomery and Liberty, has long been a hotspot for reported Bigfoot activity.

Even so, no conclusive evidence has ever surfaced to prove the creature’s existence, so the mystery - and the skepticism - continues.
