NEW YORK (1010 WINS) — An accuser of Bill Cosby sued the 84-year-old comedian in New Jersey civil court Thursday, alleging he drugged and raped her in an Atlantic City hotel suite in 1990.

Lili Bernard claims Cosby "persuaded" her to visit him at the Trump Taj Mahal to meet with a producer, the lawsuit reads according to Patch. Cosby had been previously serving as her mentor, helping with her acting since meeting on "The Cosby Show" set.
After sharing a meal, Cosby and Bernard allegedly went into a hotel suite where Cosby prepared a non-alcoholic drink for her.
Bernard said after drinking, she felt "symptoms of dizziness, [and] an urge to vomit and weakness." She remembers telling Cosby "no" as he undressed her.
She said she went then in and out of consciousness and woke up “to find Mr. Cosby naked on top of her.”
"I have waited a long time to be able to pursue my case in court, and I look forward to being heard and to hold Cosby accountable for what he did to me," she said in a statement. "Although it occurred long ago, I still live with the fear, pain, and shame every day of my life."
Cosby was released from prison in July by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court after serving only more than two years of three to 10-year sentence for a sexual assault conviction in 2018.
NBC News reports 60 women since July have accused Cosby of multiple crimes, including rape.
