Made-to-order, fast and casual pizza chain Blaze Pizza is offering its first new menu item in three years, and it has nothing to do with pizza.
Fast Fire’d Meatballs are now available at locations around the country and at its five Pittsburgh locations.
“Generously sized and served piping hot, the new Fast Fire’d Meatballs are perfectly paired with Blaze's house-made red sauce and topped with a dollop of creamy Ricotta and tangy banana peppers,” a release from Blaze states.
Now through the end of January, Blaze is offering its new item for $1 a meatball with the purchase of a pizza.
Blaze also is offering a Fast Fire’d Meatball bowl or you can get a side of two meatballs as part of their “take two” menu, which offers half a pizza, salad, cheesy bread and of course, meatballs.
Blaze operates locations in Bridgeville, Cranberry Township, Monroeville and Robinson Township.
The location on McKnight Road is listed as temporarily closed.
