Two Reality TV stars from the Upstate currently serving time in prison have received a Presidential Pardon. Oconee County natives Todd and Julie Chrisley have been unconditionally pardoned by President Trump.
The couple had been in prison since 2023 on charges of tax evasion and bank fraud. Court records showed the Chrisleys defrauded Atlanta area banks out of 30 million dollars.
President Trump told the couple's children about the pardon in a phone call. The couple's daughter Savannah Chrisley spoke in support of President Trump at the Republican National Convention, last summer.
The family's reality TV series "Chrisley Knows Best" aired for 10 seasons on the USA Network.
