Boar's Head is expanding a recall to include 7 million more pounds of deli meats tied to a listeria outbreak in 13 states.
As of Tuesday, 34 illnesses have been reported including 33 hospitalizations and two deaths.
The US Department of Agriculture informed the company that its Strassburger brand liverwurst was linked with the outbreak.
The recall now includes a total of 71 products that were produced between May 10 and July 29.
The products sell-by dates range from July 29 to Oct. 17.
This follows an earlier recall of more than 200,000 pounds of Boar's Head deli poultry and meat.
