Disney may be the happiest place on Earth, but some of its fans are upset and calling for a T-shirt they think is inappropriate to be banned from the theme parks. The uproar comes from a couple photographed wearing shirts that display a sexually suggestive message.

Fans took to social media posting a photo of the couple, as one shirt reading “I gave her the D” with the “D” being written Disney’s iconic calligraphy. The other shirt read, “I wanted the D.”

Disney does not sell the PG-13 shirts at any of its parks, but they are sold on Etsy and Amazon.

Fans of the theme park shared their displeasure with the couple, saying things like “If they banned these shirts from ever being allowed in a Disney park again I wouldn’t be mad.”

One person stood up for the shirts claiming that it was only inappropriate if the person reading it took it that way.

“It’s only inappropriate if YOU think of it in the inappropriate way. Get your minds out of the gutter… a kid sees the unmistakable Disney D not the D you do,” one user wrote. “If they are teens and get it, then they are already making everything they see into a sexual joke so no shirt is safe.”

Others responded, questioning the decision from the couple, asking, “Dude it’s a place for kids. They knew exactly what the shirts mean. Why at freakin Disney? BC obviously we don’t know how to act.”

The parks have not commented on the situation, but they state on their websites that they have the right to refuse entry based on inappropriate attire.

“We reserve the right to deny admission to or remove any person wearing attire that we consider inappropriate or attire that could detract from the experience of other Guests,” Disney World’s website states.
