Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff whisked from D.C. high school due to 'security issue'

WASHINGTON (1010 WINS) — United States' Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff was escorted out of a Washington, D.C. high school by the Secret Service due to "a security issue" Tuesday afternoon, according to a pool report.

Emoff was appearing at Dunbar High School for an event on Tuesday afternoon, but was whisked away due to a security incident.

His staff informed the press pool there was a security incident reported by the school to Secret Service, but did not provide more information.

The school was evacuated due to the threat, but the building has since been cleared, according Washington, DC Public Schools spokesperson.
