Dunkin' restaurants across the country are reopening their dining rooms for indoor dining service.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the majority of Dunkin' locations were open for drive-thru, carry-out, curbside or third party delivery only. Their dining rooms were not available to customers for indoor dining.

On Tuesday, the donut and coffee chain announced that more than 2,600 franchise locations have reopened their dining rooms and they're expecting more to reopen in the coming weeks.

“As we continue to navigate through the challenges of the COVID-19 crisis, we want to reinforce our ongoing commitment to the health and safety of guests, franchisees, employees, and the communities we serve,” said Scott Murphy, President, Dunkin’. “We’re continuing our legacy of being there when people need us most and we have a thoughtful approach with our franchisees to reopen as many dining rooms as possible by summer to welcome our guests for inside dining.”
