The Federal Bureau of Investigation is asking for the public’s help to identify a person of interest in connection with the shooting death of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk Wednesday in Utah. FBI Salt Lake City shared photos of the person in a Thursday X post.
In another Thursday post, the FBI said it is offering a reward of up to $100,000 for information leading to the identification and arrest of whoever was responsible for Kirk’s murder.
The pictured individual appears to be a light-skinned male with short hair wearing a dark, long-sleeved shirt with a design that includes an American flag, dark pants (possibly jeans), dark sunglasses with reflective lenses and a baseball cap. It also looks like the individual might be carrying a backpack.

“We are asking for the public's help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University,” said the FBI.
Since Kirk’s death Wednesday, at least two persons of interest have been taken into custody and released. Footage from the scene – a grassy area o the Utah Valley University campus in Orem, Utah – appeared to show a person on a nearby rooftop who may have been the shooter.
