Police in Florida are on the lookout for a group of vandals who decided to take their anger out on Tesla CEO Elon Musk by spray painting 34 brand new Cybertrucks “F—k Elon.”

The Cybertruck, one of Musk’s most noteworthy electric vehicles, ranges in price from $57,000 to $96,000 depending on the version, meaning the vandals defaced at least $1.9 million worth of property.

The Fort Lauderdale Police Department shared with the New York Post that it was notified of the incident at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Police said they received a call from someone who said the vehicles were perfect the night before but had now been defaced.

WPLG spoke with Adam Docktor, who works nearby, and he shared that it wasn’t just one or two of the electric trucks but almost all of them on the lot.

“It was just one row, and then it was a second row, and then a third row and a fourth row,” Docktor told WPLG.

The outlet shared that the parking lot that was holding the Cybertrucks is leased by Tesla to store its vehicles. While the Cybertrucks had been out there for about three days, the lot had minimal security.

Posts of the vandalism have gone viral online, with several flocking to the lot to take pictures and videos of the damage done.

By Friday, the Cybertrucks had been cleaned up, and the graffiti cleaned off the pricey electric vehicles.

So far, police have shared that no arrests have been made, though the investigation remains ongoing.
