West, who goes by “Ye” was in studio on Jones’ show wearing a full black mask. He came to the defense of Nazis on several occasions saying about Dictator Adolf Hitler,

"I see good things about Hitler .... Every human being has something of value that they brought to the table, especially Hitler."

West has been facing harsh criticisms for his comments about Jewish people that many feel to be anti-Semitic.

He was dropped by companies like Adidas after the controversial comments.

Mendenhall posted the following on Twitter Thursday afternoon.

Commenters to the post pointed out that West is can say whatever he likes with one saying, “He is perfectly free to say and do whatever he wants and all he is doing is making a gigantic fool of himself.”

Mendenhall was in hot water years ago after taking issue with people celebrating the death of Osama Bin Laden, speculating about who was really behind the attacks on 9/11/2001.
