Super Bowl party snacks are almost as important as the main event.

While overall food prices may be up by 11.8%, football fans luckily won't be feeling the pinch while watching Super Bowl 57.

According to CNN, a new Wells Fargo Super Bowl Food Report shows the prices of some of the most popular party dishes are down from last year.

If you plan on making chicken wings for your party, you're going to spend 22% less on the chicken than you did last year, according to the report. A pound of chicken wings has dropped from $3.38 last year to $2.65.

Plus, the price of avocado is down 20% to $1.20 a pound, shrimp has dropped 17% to $3.78 a pound, and sirloin steak has decreased by $1 to $10.17 a pound, the report reveals.

However, what you save on food could easily be spent on beverages. Beer prices are 11% higher than last year, the report shows. Wine is also up 4% and spirits have climbed 2%, per the report. The cost of soda is up 25% as well, the report notes, with a two-liter bottle costing about $2.13.

Also expect to pay more for chips, the cost of which is up about 22% to $6.28 for a 16 ounce bag, according to the report.

Super Bowl 57 is scheduled for February 12th in Glendale, Arizona. The Kansas City Chief will take on the Philadelphia Eagles, with kickoff set for 6:30 PM EST.
