The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s department fired one of its deputies after he reportedly had sex while on duty at Universal Studios and left his microphone on for the dispatcher to hear.

The incident involving the unidentified deputy allegedly took place last year near the Bates Motel on the studio backlot.

Audio obtained and released by TMZ reveals the dispatcher alerting the officer that his microphone was on. Dispatchers heard a woman moaning on the officer’s microphone.

“The administrative investigation has concluded regarding this incident,” the sheriff’s department told the outlet. “The administrative process is still unfolding and we are unable to share further details at this time, but what we can say is Sheriff Alex Villanueva takes allegations of misconduct very seriously and expects peace officers to hold themselves to the highest moral and ethical standards.”
