A couple of breakfast greats are becoming one.
Two Minnesota-based food giants, Hormel and General Mills, are collaborating on a bacon-breakfast cereal combo. Yes, bacon cereal.
They sa the thick cut, black label pork strips will be dusted with Cinnamon Toast Cruch cereal to creat a "sugary, salty, savory treat."
"Sweet and savory is such a classic combination, and blasting BLACK LABEL® bacon with our CINNADUST™ seasoning blend is a no-brainer to deliver the epic flavor our fans love in even more ways," said Brandon Tyrrell, senior marketing manager for CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH™ cereal.
