SICKLERVILLE, N.J. (1010 WINS) — New Jersey "twerking" package thieves returned the stolen item days after the owner uploaded a surveillance video of the theft to the Ring Neighbors app last week, authorities said.
According to Gloucester Township police, at about 6:36 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9, two suspects ran up to the victim's door at the Independence Square Townhomes in Sicklerville, stole their package, then taunted them on camera by "twerking".
Two days later, at about 7:02 p.m., one suspect stayed across the street while the second suspect approached the surveillance camera holding a phone displaying the uploaded video of the theft and said, "Come on dude, not cool bro, come on, not cool at all. That's my a** on the internet!"
The suspect ran away and the other suspect returns minutes later and places the stolen package outside of the victim's door saying "Here, I had to give tis back," before running off again.
