
The Pennsylvania Department of Health has provided an update to the state’s vaccination numbers and they continue to improve.
To date, over 9.6 million doses of vaccines have been administered.
Throughout the state, over 5.8 million individuals have received at least their first dose and 4.1 million are fully vaccinated.
These numbers land the state with 54% of the population with at least one dose of a vaccine, which is ninth in the nation.
According to the CDC, as of Saturday morning, 47.8% of all Pennsylvania citizen aged 18 and over are fully vaccinated.
Governor Tom Wolf announced a earlier this month that if 70% of Pennsylvanians can reach full vaccination, he will lift the mask mandate.
While the CDC has updated their ruling for a mask mandate, businesses and organizations will be the ones who chose to enforce or not enforce a mask mandate for fully vaccinated individuals.
