Three weeks ahead of the midterm election, Pennsylvania's US Senate candidates campaigned Tuesday in Butler and Allegheny counties.
At Steamfitters Technology in Harmony last night, Democrat John Fetterman reassured supporters about his recovery from a stroke, claiming “In January I’m going to be much better.”

Fetterman has released a letter from his doctor at UPMC, who said the US senate candidate “has no work restrictions and can work full duty in public office.”
Dr. Clifford Chen saw Fetterman last week. He says his health continues to improve following a stroke, including normal speech, full movement of his extremities and normal vitals.
Chen added Fetterman continues to exhibit symptoms of an auditory processing disorder. His hearing is not effected, but he will occasionally miss words when they're not processed properly.
Fetterman also took the time to take some shots at his opponent in Oz, “He has no moral core, he will say anything for a vote or he will say anything for a buck.”
Republican Mehmet Oz told people gathered at the FOP Lodge in West Homestead he'll support law enforcement. Oz also said a Safe Wize poll shows 50 percent of Pennsylvanians are worried about crime.
“The fabric of our communities is being shredded, it’s under assault and some people are pulling at the frayed ends of our society.”
The last two polls in the race show Fetterman's lead is down to two points, well inside of the margin of error.
The deadline to register as a voter is October 24th. The deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot is November 1st, a week before the midterm election.
