A local Congressman wants to rename a Washington D.C. Airport after former President Donald Trump.

Guy Reschenthaler has introduced a bill to rename Washington Dulles International Airport as the Donald J. Trump International Airport.

“In my lifetime, our nation has never been greater than under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump,” said Reschenthaler. “As millions of domestic and international travelers fly through the airport, there is no better symbol of freedom, prosperity, and strength than hearing ‘Welcome to Trump International Airport’ as they land on American soil.”

Reschenthaler’s bill is supported by six other Republican Congressman.

Dulles Airport was named after former President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s Secretary of State John Foster Dulles.

Dulles, A Republican, died due to complications of colon cancer in 1959. He was 71.
