Pennsylvania's primary election happens on May 18 and the state is reminding voters that a state website is a "one-stop" information resource for voters.

“The votesPA.com site is a one-stop shop for Pennsylvania voters. They can verify their registration, find out where to vote or how to return their mail ballot, and even watch a video of how to cast a ballot on their county’s voting system. We encourage all eligible voters to be fully informed about their rights and to vote in the primary election,” said Acting Secretary of State Veronica W. Degraffenreid.

So far, more than 800,000 mail ballot applications have been received between absentee and mail-in voting. The deadline to apply for a mail ballot is 5pm on Tuesday, May 11.

The Department of State says voters using mail ballots should return their ballots as soon as possible to their county election board. The deadline to get them returned is 8pm on May 18.
