PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) - Movie theater capacity will be limited to 75% beginning April 4, but there is a catch.
The auditoriums within the theaters will be limited to 25% capacity. So an auditorium that seats 100 people will only be permitted to have 25 people in it.
"The numbers don't add up," said Gina Disanto, president of the Pennsylvania chapter of the National Association of Theatre Owners. "The 75% capacity means nothing for movie theaters."
Theaters have sanitizing and other cleaning protocols in place that were designed around the CDC and the World Health Organization.
