A state lawmaker in Pennsylvania is planning to propose legislation to temporarily suspend Pennsylvania's gas taxes with fuel prices rising due to the conflict with Iran.
Democratic Senator out of the Lehigh Valley, Lisa Boscola's tax suspension would last for 60 days.
The state gasoline tax is just shy of 60 cents per gallon, diesel is around 75 cents.
Boscola's bill also authorizes bonds to replace any short-term loss to the Motor License Fund.
The Pennsylvania Senate is not in session and reconvenes on Monday.
