The State House has passed a bill that supporters say should speed up the tallying of votes in Pennsylvania.
The bill passed by a vote of 103 to 99 and would allow counties to begin counting mail in ballots earlier in the day on Election Day.
The bill's prime sponsor, Centre County Democrat Scott Conklin, says by giving counties the ability to count the ballots earlier, it would help to minimize doubts about the mail in ballots and what he called unfounded conspiracies.
