PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) - Governor Tom Wolf is making a push to legalize recreational marijuana. He points out that several other states have already done so.
"Everybody is using it who wants to now, and the only thing that would be different if we legalize it is, would be revenue," Wolf said Tuesday during the KDKA Radio Morning Show with Larry Richert and Kevin Battle.
House Majority Leader Representative Kerry Benninghoff says revenue is a lousy reason to put Pennsylvanians at risk.
"If the governor is correct in what he said, those that want to be using it are using it anyhow, we ought to just get the revenue off of it. Well, if they're already using it, why do we have to legalize it and make more people start using it?" Benninghoff said Wednesday to Larry and Kevin.
