Pennsylvania Republican David McCormick tells KDKA Radio's Marty Griffin Democratic leader Chuck Schumer has invited him to attend Senate orientation this week.

Also invited is Arizona Democrat Ruben Gallego.

Schumer initially refused to ask either of the apparent election winner invitations due to uncounted ballots.

Both races have been called by the AP.

As of November 12, McCormick has a 49% to 48.5% lead over incumbent, Democrat Bob Casey with 98% of the votes counted.

If that .5% lead holds up, there will be an automatic recount.

Some provisional ballots still need to be counted with McCormick holding a lead of 34,940 votes.

The number of remaining ballots that need to be counted are unknown.
