Pennsylvania’s Low-Income Heating Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is now accepting applications for the 2020-2021 season.
LIHEAP provides financial help for people struggling to pay their heating bills.
The help is in the form of a financial grant paid directly to the utility provider and usually range from $200 to $1,000, according to the state Department of Human Services website.
These grants do not have to be repaid by the recipients.
Both renters and homeowners who meet the criteria can apply at the state's COMPASS website.
Applications are being until April 9, 2021.
