UPDATE: The felony charge against McKenna has been dropped.
The Penn State hockey star expected to be the number one pick in this year's NHL draft is facing multiple charges, including felony aggravated assault.
Gavin McKenna is accused of punching a man in the face twice in downtown State College on January 31, the same day Penn State hosted Michigan for an outdoor game at Beaver Stadium, in front of over 74,500 fans.
The criminal complaint says McKenna and a group he was with after Penn State's outdoor hockey game encountered another group and there was "an exchange of words."
Street cameras appear to show McKenna punching the man, who police say has jaw fractures.
The 18-year-old was arraigned Wednesday, released on bail and has a preliminary hearing scheduled next week.
