Sen. Bob Casey Lashes Out at Republicans

Casey says 2017 tax bill was a 'middle finger to the middle class'

The latest round of stimulus money should arrive in your mailbox of bank account by the end of the month. But the plan is drawing some criticism.

It's a $1.9 Trillion dollar spending plan... that provides checks for individuals who qualify, more money for states, and healthcare.

But the plan also includes hundreds of billions of dollars for things like the arts, the environment, and other so-called pork projects that Republicans say are unrelated to the virus or economic recovery.

Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey - a democrat - tried defending those projects on the KDKA Radio Morning Show by attacking a Republican tax relief bill from more than 3 years.

This new stimulus bill was passed entirely along party lines in the Senate.
