
In the second quarter of 2021, Pennsylvania State Police seized more than $19 million dollars worth of illegal drugs.
According to information released Tuesday, from April through June, 306 lbs of fentanyl and 285 lbs of cocaine, 167 lbs of methamphetamines and 22lbs of heroin were seized by State Police.
In addition, marijuana, ecstacy and other narcotics were confiscated. More than 900 lbs of prescription drugs were collected as part of the drug take-back program.
In the first quarter of 2021, the total value of drugs seized by PSP was $17.7 million.
