A winter storm is expected to make its way through the Pittsburgh area late this weekend into Monday.
AccuWeather Meteorologist Dean DeVore tells the KDKA Radio morning show that there will most likely be some snow shower activity in the Pittsburgh area starting late Sunday.
"We could have some snow showers or some steadier snow at times on Monday too so just during that period we're looking at slow and slippery driving at times 3 to 6 inches total is what we're thinking between the two days," said DeVore.
High winds and temps in the mid to upper 20s will keep real-feels in the single digits Friday with highs through the weekend into early next week hovering around 30.
After a snowy start to winter, there hasn't been much accumulating snow to speak of, but it looks like that all changes this weekend.
