Police in England have updated the story on a man arrested in connection with the on-ice death of former Penguins player Adam Johnson.

South Yorkshire Police say the man arrested on suspicion of manslaughter has been released on police bail.

“Our investigation continues and we will provide further updates as and when we can,” police said in a statement.

Johnson died of a neck injury suffered during a hockey game in England on October 28. He was playing for the Nottingham Panthers when he was cut in the neck by a skate blade.

Matt Petgrave of the Sheffield Steelers was involved in collision with Johnson, but police did not say who was arrested.
