PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – The Backyard Brawl will be in the prime afternoon kickoff spot this year. It’s not a night game, rather a 3:30p kickoff in Morgantown as released by ESPN on Thursday.

Pitt holds a 2-1 lead in the recent series with the only loss two years ago on the road. It’s the first meeting of these teams in West Virginia with Rich Rodriguez as WVU head coach since the 13-9 Pitt upset in 2007.

ESPN also released the starting times for the first two games of the season.

·     August 30               Duquesne, Noon
·     September 6           Central Michigan, Noon
·     September 13        at West Virginia, 3:30p

Bill Hillgrove, Pat Bostick, Larry Richert and Dorin Dickerson will bring you the call of every Pitt game on 93.7 The Fan again this season.
