PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Could have guessed it after the team signed Matthew Wright to the active roster, but kicker Chris Boswell was one of a handful of Steelers unable to practice Wednesday.

Boswell missed the Eagles game with a right groin injury and replaced by Nick Sciba. Sciba was released Tuesday with Wright signed off the Chiefs practice squad.

The rest of the injuries on the defensive side. Recently acquired corner William Jackson missed practice with a back injury that kept him out of a few games with Washington. Corner Ahkello Witherspoon is dealing with his hamstring injury. Witherspoon came back to play against Philadelphia and was benched for performance related issues and now back to nursing the same injury.

The positive news would be that corner Levi Wallace returned to full practice after missing with a shoulder injury.

“Good, getting back out there,” Wallace told 93.7 The Fan. “Feeling good, good to be out there with the team. Just deal with it one day at a time, that’s all it is. Glad to be alive, good to be doing what I’m doing.”

Long-snapper Christian Kuntz was back to a full practice after missing Monday due to a rib injury.

Linebacker Myles Jack (knee) was unable to practice Wednesday as was defensive lineman Larry Ogunjobi, who continues to miss with his knee injury.

Tomorrow is the day the team has to decide on safety Damontae Kazee. They must either activate him or he will be lost for the season.  Kazee is confident he will be able to play Sunday.
