The Steelers not only lost on Sunday, but they suffered some big injuries that will keep some players out this coming Sunday against the Colts and moving forward.
Head Coach Mike Tomlin said that defensive lineman Daniel Ekuale is out with an ACL injury and safety DeShon Elliott is out with a hyper-extended knee.
Ekuale is out for the season with his injury. It is feared that Elliott will also be out the rest of the season. But, Tomlin said Elliott is currently out “week-to-week.”
Both players were injured during the Packers game.
Wide receiver Scotty Miller has a broken finger that was repaired. Tomlin said they’ll see how he recovers as the week goes on.
Guard Isaac Seumalo is questionable with a pectoral injury but Tomlin said he is in a good mindset and has a chance to play.
They’ll need all available players on the field with the 7-1 Indianapolis Colts coming to Acrisure Stadium.
