A few things to keep an eye on in Steeler first depth chart

The Steelers’ first depth chart of the season was released Tuesday morning. Let’s take a look at it!

Notable on the chart:

Pat Freiermuth or Jonnu Smith are listed at tight end 1. Darnell Washington is the other TE1.

Kaleb Johnson is behind Kenneth Gainwell at running back.

Jack Sawyer is listed along with DeMarvin Leal as backup at outside linebacker behind T.J.
Watt.

Offense:

Aaron Rodgers is quarterback 1. Behind him are Mason Rudolph, Will Howard and Skylar Thompson.

DK Metcalf and Calvin Austin III are WR1. Scotty Miller and Robert Woods are the second-string wide receivers. Roman Wilson is third-string.

Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington are first-string tight ends.

Jaylen Warren is followed by Kenneth Gainwell at running back.

First string offensive line: Broderick Jones and Isaac Seumalo are on the right side, Mason McCormick and Troy Fautanu on the left with Zach Frazier at Center.

Defense:

Patrick Queen and Payton Wilson are inside linebackers. Alex Highsmith and T.J. Watt are outside linebackers.

Juan Thornhill is starting free safety with Miles Killebrew #2. DeShon Elliott and Chuck Clark are first and second strong safety.

Jalen Ramsey is #1 in the backfield followed by Beanie Bishop.

Darius Slay and Joey Porter Jr are starting cornerbacks.

Cam Heyward, Keeanu Benton and Derrick Harmon start on the line.

The battle for punter is still between Corliss Waitman and Cameron Johnston.

Former Pitt kicker Ben Sauls is on the depth chart, behind Chris Boswell.
