We’re learning more about Aaron Rodgers’ visit to Pittsburgh this weekend.
First reported by Dorin Dickerson and Adam Crowley of the Fan Morning Show, Rodgers is expected to be in Pittsburgh and will visit the Steelers facility this weekend.
On Friday morning, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said on "Good Morning Football", “finality is coming for the former and likely future quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers.”
Rapoport says Rodgers is expected to spend the weekend in Pittsburgh and is “likely to play” though a deal is not done.
That could change this weekend, if a deal does get done.
Rapoport says Rodgers has continued to have a line of communication open with his wide receivers and getting to know the new ones like Michael Pittman.
Though Rapoport adds, a deal is not imminent at this point.
When it comes to money, it’s not known how much it will take to sign the four-time MVP, but it is likely to be more than the UFA tender of $15 million.
