PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Aaron Rodgers is coming back.

Both the NFL Network and ESPN reporting Saturday night the 42-year-old agrees to a one-year deal hours after he was spotted in Pittsburgh with teammates. NFL Network said the deal is worth up to $25 million that includes a base salary between $22 and $23 million and incentives can get it up to $25 million.




Rodgers waited until May last year and joining the team for the final week of offseason activities, he waited until May again. Steelers begin OTAs on Monday and he could be there for the voluntary workouts. Last year he only participated in the mandatory work and did go in every training camp practice in Latrobe except one, per coach’s decision, and quickly bonded with his new teammates.

10-6 in his first season with the Steelers, the final numbers 327-498, 65.7% completion, 3322 yards, 24 touchdowns and seven interceptions.

He will be entering his 22nd NFL season

After another long wait, the two biggest NFL companies confirm Rodgers will be reunited with head coach Mike McCarthy, where he won Super Bowl XLV and two NFL MVP awards.
