What’s up with Adam Frazier?
The Pirates All-Star who was traded to the San Diego before the trade deadline is struggling.
In 25 games with the Friars, Frazier is batting .229, He was batting .324 when he left Pittsburgh.
He’s 22 for 96 with two doubles, one triple, zero home runs and two RBI.
In 98 games with the Pirates, Frazier had 28 doubles, four triples, four home runs and 35 RBI.

His OPS has also dramatically fell from .836 in Pittsburgh to .545 in San Diego.
Frazier went 1-for-6 in Wednesday’s marathon loss to the Dodgers and has gone 7-for-45 (.156) in his past 14 games.
Along with that, the Padres are 2-for-8 in their past 10 and 15 games out of first behind the Dodgers and first place Giants, but are still only 1 game out of a Wild Card spot.
That trade that sent Frazier and $1.4 million to San Diego for short stop Tucupita Marcano, outfielder Jack Suwinski and RHP Michell Miliano is looking better and better.
Marcano is currently rated 9th in the Pirates system by MLB Pipeline with Suwinski coming in at 30th.
