PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) — According to NFL insider Josina Anderson, there is "optimism" that a deal could come to fruition between former Pittsburgh Steeler Alejandro Villanueva and the AFC North rival Ravens.
The deal, of course, would now be expedited by Orlando Brown's trade to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Still, it's also not expected to manifest until after the NFL Draft to take the compensatory machinations into consideration.
Nothing is official yet, but according to Anderson, a potential deal would go through after a "pending agreement on terms."
Anderson also states that Villanueva would be added to possibly play a more versatile role on the Ravens' offensive line, dependent on Ronnie Stanley's health.
