Alualu Out, Hilton and Wisniewski doubtful for Cowboys

TE Vance McDonald is questionable after missing practice Friday with an illness

As expected, Steelers defensive end Tyson Alualu will be out for Sunday's game against the Cowboys due to a reported sprained MCL.

Cornerback Mike Hilton could also miss another game, and is listed as doubtful, along with offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski.

Hilton was limited in practice all week while dealing with a shoulder injury.

Wisniewski on the other hand was just activated to the 53-man roster this week after being placed on the injured list after suffering a pectoral injury in the opening game against the Giants.

Tight end Vance McDonald, who was not on the injury report all week, did not practice on Friday and is questionable with an illness for Sunday.

There is some good news for the Steelers though, backup defensive end Isaiah Buggs, who played well against Baltimore and did not practice on Thursday due to an ankle injury, returned on Friday and went full.

With the Steelers facing an embattled Dallas Cowboys offense, the Steelers should be able to survive without Hilton, but some have been warning of the "trap game" that seems to hurt Pittsburgh at least once a year.

Kickoff in Dallas is Sunday at 4:25 p.m.
