Archie’s bar/restaurant on the South Side kept its word after making an offer before the Pitt/Duke game.

Mike Manning owner of Archie’s announced on X (formally Twitter) that if the Panthers beat the Blue Devils, he would give away free wings.

Well the 13-point underdog Panthers went into Durham and took down the No. 7 Blue Devils 80-76.

So, manning gave out free orders of wings after the game.

A photo of Manning in his 93.7 The Fan had was seen after the game with an order of wings in his hand.

Archie’s is one of the best spots in Pittsburgh for Pitt game along with Steelers, Penguins and Pirates games.

There are usually drink and food deals, not quite free wings, but still pretty good.

Archie’s is also home of the Paul Zeise Grilled Cheese sandwich!

Archie’s is open 7-days a week on the 2300 block of East Carson Street.
