Many believe the Steelers simply gave up at the end of the game on Sunday against the Bengals, including one of Cincinnati’s players.

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd, who has now scored a touchdown at every level of football at Heinz Field (Clairton, Pitt and Bengals), says the Steelers gave up.

Here is what Boyd told Cincinnati media today.

“I think the good thing about that win was not only did the Steelers felt it,” Boyd said.  “Everybody in the country felt it.  The last plays of the game for them, they gave up.  You could see it.  They had three drops in a row.  It gives us more power to know how good we are.”

"For a team to just lay down like that before the game is over, no matter how much we're losing by or whatever the case may be, I know me, I know us, we're not giving up . . . they portrayed it to the whole nation, on TV what they were about and how they gave up, so you just got to take advantage," said Boyd.

Boyd also went on to talk about former Steeler Mike Hilton, who still apparently has a chip on his shoulder talking to his team twice about how he felt undervalued in Pittsburgh.

Here is the exact quote from Boyd.

“He was saying basically how he wasn’t valued by those guys," Boyd said Monday.  "He was their leading turnover guy. For them to not invest in a guy like him is kind of insulting. You know how good you are. You feel like you mean a lot to a team and an organization. They just turn around and stab you in the back."

"He didn’t say that in his exact words, but we understood the message. He wanted to go back there and show those boys why didn’t they value him?”

Boyd had four catches for 36 yards and one touchdown.
