The Pirates still have a couple months of games yet to play in 2021, but we already know who the Bucs will be playing in 2022.

On Wednesday afternoon, the organization released their 2022 schedule.

The Bucs will open the ’22 campaign at home against division rival St. Louis Cardinals on March 31.

It will be the first time the Pirates have had a true Opening Day at home since 2016 when they beat the Cardinals 4-1.

Other highlights include the Boston Red Sox coming to PNC Park August 16-18, the Yankees September 5-7.

The Detroit Tigers will also come to Pittsburgh June 7 and 8 and the Toronto Blue Jays make a visit September 2-4.

The Pirates will also make trips to Detroit, Tampa, Baltimore and New York to take on the Yankees after a four game set against the Mets in September.

The Pirates will also face their division rivals and the rest of the National League.
