CB returns to practice, full Steelers injury report

Several Steelers players were absent on Wednesday for the first full practice Colts week and one returned to practice for the first time since Training Camp, but remains on injured reserve.

Wide receiver Scotty Miller (finger), center Zach Frazier (calf), guard Isaac Seumalo (pec) and tight end Pat Freiermuth (quadricep) all did not practice.

Safety DeShon Elliot and nose tackle Daniel Ekuale were on the practice report as well. Both have been placed on injured reserve.

Wide receiver Ben Skowronek was limited with a neck injury.

“There’s a gap that needs to be bridged between whatever the reality is between the team and Art Rooney having any thoughts about possibility making a change.”

Quarterback Will Howard, cornerback Cory Trice Jr. and linebacker Malik Harrison all practiced in full and are all in the 21-day window to return from injured reserve.

Wednesday was Trice’s first practice since being placed on IR.

Tight end Jonnu Smith was giving a veteran day off.
