Chris Mueller doesn't want to hear any more talk about how Matt Canada handicapped Ben Roethlisberger this season. The "PM Team" co-host says Roethlisberger would've played poorly regardless of who was calling plays.

On Monday, Mueller ripped into Roethlisberger following the Steelers' brutal 42-21 loss to the Chiefs Sunday night. Pittsburgh's lone offensive bright spot came in the third quarter, when Roethlisberger ripped off a 75-yard touchdown drive. Roethlisberger's second-half success prompted Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reporter Gerry Dulac to tweet that Ben finally disregarded Canada's play-calling.

"After Ben Roethlisberger led a 75-yard touchdown drive, Cris Collinsworth wondered on TV, 'Where's that been all night?' I'll tell you where: He finally said heck on those plays he's getting in his helmet and decided to do things his way," Dulac tweeted. "Trust me."

That was enough to send Mueller over the edge. Roethlisberger finished 29-of-44 for 215 yards and two touchdowns.

"Hey, Ben: you have carte blanche! You've been given it. If you're so hamstrung by bad calls, say 'to heck with the game plan' on play one," Mueller said. "Oh, wait a minute, if you did that it would reveal once and for all you are a shell of yourself. If Canada is 51% of the problem or 50.1%, Ben was 49.9. But we can't say that about the venerable Ben Roethlisberger as he goes into retirement. No, that would be mean! How dare we say out loud the truth? He sucked! He was a joke this year. His fourth quarter numbers, with the exception of maybe two, maybe three games, were a complete farce. They were a byproduct of disinterested teams letting him do what he wanted and play in his sand box. He sucked!"
