PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – He won a national championship at the University of Michigan just a couple of years ago and yet another name on the list of people the Steelers are interested in interviewing to be the next head coach.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reporting Jesse Minter will talk to the Steelers after he completed a job interview with the Ravens on Wednesday.

The 42-year-old was the Chargers defensive coordinator in 2025 (8th in points allowed at 19.8) and former Ravens defensive assistant from 2017-2020. He spent a season with Jim Harbaugh at Michigan and led one of the most physical defenses of this decade.

The Arkansas native started as a coaching intern at Notre Dame in 2006 under Charlie Weis, moving to Cincinnati and Brian Kelly. He also coached at Indiana State and Georgia State.
