According to Steelers running back Cordarrelle Patterson, he’s been released by Pittsburgh.
Patterson said on social media Monday that he had “breaking news.”
“Pittsburgh Steelers release old washed up cordarrelle patterson on his day off!!!,” the 4x All-Pro kick returner sarcastically said on “X”.
At 34-years-old, the 12-year NFL veteran played in 13 games for the Steelers last year, starting in one game.
He rushed 32 times for 135 yards and had 12 catches for 80 yards and one touchdown.
Patterson was taken in the first-round of the 2013 draft by the Minnesota Vikings.
