Crowley: Penn State absolutely afraid to play Pitt

If you know anything about Fan Morning Show co-host Adam Crowley, you know he is a loyal West Virginia University fan.

So, it may come as a bit of a shock to you that Crowley was on Pitt’s side when he made, what he thought, was a passing comment.

Earlier on the show Tuesday, Crowley said, “Oh, yeah, Penn State’s scared to play Pitt.”

After that, Crowley was fighting with Penn State fans on the text line all morning long.

While Crowley’s loyalties will stay with the Mountaineers, he believes that Penn State fans look down on both Pitt fans and WVU fans.

“They’re too good to play ‘that game’,” Crowley said, talking about how he thinks Penn State fans look at Pitt.

Crowley stuck to his argument on Twitter as well and Dorin Dickerson (Pitt All-American) was here for it.

Dickerson pointed out how Pitt has improved, winning the ACC and continues to win games under head coach Pat Narduzzi since the two schools wrapped up a four-year series in 2019.

Penn State won three of the four games in that series.
