Revis, the former Pitt Panther, becomes one of the fifteen modern day finalists to make the hall for the Class of 2023.

The results will be revealed Super Bowl LVII weekend. The process the 48-voting member committee will use cuts the fifteen players down to ten, then down to five. From the five remaining players, any that have over 80% of votes they will be inducted into the hall.

After 3 years at Pitt, Revis was taken in the first round of the NFL draft at pick 14 to the New York Jets in 2007.

The Cornerback spent 8 years of his 11-year career with the New York Jets. He spent one year with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, and Kansas City Chiefs each.

Darrelle makes a good case for himself being a 7-time Pro Bowler, 4-time All-Pro, and Super Bowl XLIX Champion.

Revis finished his career with 29 interceptions and 3 touchdowns, that included a 100-yard pick-six, over 145 NFL games.

The other fourteen finalists with Revis are Jared Allen, Willie Anderson, Ronde Barber, Dwight Freeney, Devin Hester, Torry Holt, Andre Johnson, Albert Lewis, Joe Thomas, Zach Thomas, DeMarcus Ware, Reggie Wayne, Patrick Willis, and Darren Woodson.
